Twilight ... no book reveiw is complete without it. The author Stephanie Meyer did an amazing job capturing the readers attention and holding it throught out the entire book. You end up getting so attached to the characters and the storyline that your life ends up being put on hold until you finish the entire series. The book is about a forbidden romance between human and vampire, but as the series continues, werewolf is thrown into the mix creating an intriguing mythical love triangle.

Review by Patty Campbell Review taken from www.stepheniemeyer.com "Softly he brushed my cheek, then held my face between his marble hands. 'Be very still,' he whispered, as if I wasn't already frozen. Slowly, never moving his eyes from mine, he leaned toward me. Then abruptly, but very gently, he rested his cold cheek against the hollow at the base of my throat." As Shakespeare knew, love burns high when thwarted by obstacles. In Twilight, an exquisite fantasy by Stephenie Meyer, readers discover a pair of lovers who are supremely star-crossed. Bella adores beautiful Edward, and he returns her love. But Edward is having a hard time controlling the blood lust she arouses in him, because--he's a vampire. At any moment, the intensity of their passion could drive him to kill her, and he agonizes over the danger. But, Bella would rather be dead than part from Edward, so she risks her life to stay near him, and the novel burns with the erotic tension of their dangerous and necessarily chaste relationship. Meyer has achieved quite a feat by making this scenario completely human and believable. She begins with a familiar YA premise (the new kid in school), and lulls us into thinking this will be just another realistic young adult novel. Bella has come to the small town of Forks on the gloomy Olympic Peninsula to be with her father. At school, she wonders about a group of five remarkably beautiful teens, who sit together in the cafeteria but never eat. As she grows to know, and then love, Edward, she learns their secret. They are all rescued vampires, part of a family headed by saintly Carlisle, who has inspired them to renounce human prey. For Edward's sake they welcome Bella, but when a roving group of tracker vampires fixates on her, the family is drawn into a desperate pursuit to protect the fragile human in their midst. The precision and delicacy of Meyer's writing lifts this wonderful novel beyond the limitations of the horror genre to a place among the best of YA fiction. (Ages 12 and up)

The Shack is an emotional rollorcoaster. I sobbed for hours over this book. Some were tears of joy, others of pain. I have never read a book so captivating. For all you christans out there, this book will definately strengthen your relationship with Him. Not only that, but the storyline hits home and is great for book clubs and group readings. After I finished the book, I was tempted to read it again and experience it once more. As you read the last page, last paragraph, last sentence, your heart feels heavy, but with love, compassion, and pure joy. I know that a lot of people say this, but if you don't read this book, you are truly, truly, missing out. This book is a definate soul clenser.
Review by Eugene Peterson, Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology When the imagination of a writer and the passion of a theologian cross-fertilize the result is a novel on the order of "The Shack." This book has the potential to do for our generation what John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress" did for his. It's that good!
Review by Mike Morrell, zoecarnate.com Finally! A guy-meets-God Novel that has literary integrity and spiritual daring. "The Shack" cuts through the cliches of both religion and bad writing to reveal something compelling and beautiful about life's integral dance with the Divine. This story reads like a prayer--like the best kind of prayer, filled with sweat and wonder and transparency and surprise. When I read it, I felt like I was fellowshipping with God. If you read one work of fiction this year, let this be it.
Review by Patrick M. Roddy, ABC News Emmy Award winning producer "The Shack" is a one of a kind invitation to journey to the very heart of God. Through my tears and cheers, I have been indeed transformed by the tender mercy with which William Paul Young opened the veil that too often separated me from God and from myself. With every page, the complicated do's and don't that distort a relationship into a religion were washed away as I understood Father, Son and Holy Spirit for the first time in my life.

Pendragon is one of my favorite series! As soon as I began reading about this adventure I couldn't take my eyes away from the pages. I loved this series so much that I finished seven of the books in less than a month! First page and your already swept into the story. There is danger around every corner and when you put the book down for the night you have more questions than answers. But everyone knows that if you want to find those answers, you have to keep reading, and believe me when I say that its impossible to put this book down! Pendragon is the next Harry Potter! These books would make an aweome movie series!
Carmen Ferreiro, Author of "Two Moon Princess" I have been infatuated with the adventures of Bobby Pendragon since I bought the first books in the series and read them to my son back in 2005. Even after my son decided he was too old to read YA books, I continued buying every one of them as soon as they came out, and devouring them all by myself.
I don't know exactly why I love these books. I love the characters and I love the complexity of the story. Each book is a complete adventure and stands on its own. But at the same time each book advances a story arch, bigger in scope than any of the individual stories. You could say each book is a block, together they build a castle.
Maximum Ride is a story that I enjoy reading over and over again. Every character has a unique personality which makes it easy for the reader to relate. The story already starts at a quick pace but it moves faster as the story unfolds.

Review by Chris Shanley-Dillman Get comfortable, grab a good, tight grip on this book, and prepare for an awesome adventure! At first glance Max might look like an average 14-year-old girl, but you'll quickly realize that she's anything but ordinary. Max has wings! And they aren't just for decoration either. Max can fly; she can soar high into the clear, blue sky like a bird! And Max can do this because she actually is part bird! Sounds pretty cool, eh? Well, not exactly.
See, Max spends the first 10 years of her life locked in a tiny cage at a place called The School. There she suffers through test after horrid test from the scientists who created her by adding bird DNA to her own human DNA. While there, she meets five other winged kids, and with the help of a sympathetic scientist, the six of them manage to escape. This fantastic freedom becomes the happiest time in their lives, bonding Max, Fang, Iggy, the Gasman, Nudge and Angel into a family, the only family any of them has ever known.
But then out of nowhere, their past catches up with them...
